Boys Over Flowers - Korean Version

Ah...I'm absolutely smitten by this drama. The best of the other BOFs (not that they don't do a good job of it). I'm absolutely smitten with the fantastic plot and the fresh new sense it potrays.

I'm absolutely smitten with Kim Hyun Joong starring as Yoon Ji Hoo. This drama brought out something more out of Hanazawa Rui. I was like hoping against the impossible that Ji Hoo and Jan Di would get together in the end.

The drama was not fully focused on only the two smitten lovebirds for the first time (Thank God!), but also with Yi Jung, who is one of the F4's playboy, falling in love with Jan Di's best friend from kindergarden, Ga Eul. I absolutely love this two boys in the drama, and of course, Goo Joon Pyo was too cute as the notorious leader of F4. It may be unrealistic, but hey, it's entertainment, isn't it?

A Very Early Morning! Or Late At Night...

Hi, guys!

A very good morning (since it's nearly 1 a.m.). (Everyone: Grunting & Grumbling) What is this psychotic girl doing late at night...?

Well, I crashed the moment I reached home yesterday at almost 7, skipped a normal but delicious dinner (crying) and just slept away....

Why such unusual pattern? You asked.

Two nights before I was finishing my assignment and didn't sleep till 5 in the morning, had to wake up for work and feeling pretty numb for the rest of the day. Then I come home and toiled again till 2++ in the morning and go to college early in the morning. I thought of taking a short wink of sleep, but after awhile I just...drifting off...deeper...and deeper...

Okay, that's enough! I feel like sleeping again. I just woke up and couldn't sleep so I thought maybe just awhile. Plus, I still have my assignments...and lately, I've been on and off coughing, trying to gag my heart out, and no, it's not H1N1. Just a normal cough. The midnight toils aren't helping of course and it's really cold in the morning lately...Anyway, I'm gonna stop here! Love you guys.

Jennifer's Body

Sometime ago, I just needed to chill, so I did something that I haven't done for ages. I went to the movies and watched 'Jennifer's Body'. Well, the movie was...okay, though a little boring.

The show was about this girl in a mental rehab, Needy, who narrates her life story of how she came to be in this state. When she was still normal, her friend, Jennifer, was murdered as a human sacrifice to the demon in a ritual to gain success. This ritual needs a sacrifice of a virgin in order to gain success. If the sacrifice was impure, the exchange still works but a demon will be release and takes over the sacrifice. This demon is called a succubus - flesh eating demon.

It was a little scary when the show introduced the demon possessed Jennifer but the whole show was not that horrifying. The show has a sad climax when Jennifer had been preying on guys for two years and eventually targeted Needy's boyfriend, Chip.

Needy, as the show moves on, knew that Jennifer was different, but was too scared to do any thing-that was until Jennifer's appetite grew and Chip fell prey into her hands. Chip died although not as horribly as the guys before him. Needy managed to save him from being eaten alive, but he had lost too much blood and passed on. Needy killed Jennifer in her bedroom by stabbing her through the heart with a knife. Jennifer's mom heard the commotion and went to check on her and saw what happened and that was how Needy ended up in the mental ward.

During the fight with Jennifer, Jennifer bit Needy in retaliation and some of the demonic powers were transferred to Needy because she was bitten and lived. Using this powers, she freed herself from the ward and sought to avenged Jennifer who became a demon due to the people who sacrificed her.
